How many fashion photographers nowadays have their first exhibition’s introduction written by someone of the likes of Man Ray? Guy Bourdin. Really great photos.

Back in the swing of things as far as photoshoots go.. Had a fun last minute shoot last night with Mos Def before and after his show at Belly Up in Solana Beach. Patrick Trefz was shooting stills and video all evening long, can’t wait to see the outcome (we shot everything on film).. Here’s a few shots from the trusty old g10 in the meantime.

Maximilian Haidacher is still in Photography school at the University of Arts, Linz, Austria. His photos remind me of old postcards from the 60s.. One to watch i think, check out his flickr pages as well…

Sophie Mörner, awesome swede, and publisher of Capricious has a cool show on at The Capricious Space called “IN REAL LIFE” .. Yesterday was the “I Heart Photograph” exhibit..Faxes were sent to Sophie’s space in Brooklyn by photographers and artists all around the world. (Mine apparently didn’t make it through!)
Love this quote from how the fax experiment panned out:
“the analogue world is complicated.”
