So my body has pretty much shut itself down due to a vicious flu.. Stuck in bed, low on energy. With sickness brings time to surf the web… Stumbeled upon this flickr page full of shots from the “New IllustratedLIbrary of Science and Invention” .. I found a bunch of these at the library when I was about 10, great stuff, and I still remember flipping through them for hours.

Radio Silence is a book I’ve been waiting to come out for about four years now. Compiled by brooklyn designer Nathan Nedorostek and Writer Anthony Pappalardo, this book is a great visual compilation of the great American Hardcore scene.  I just ordered mine from Amazon right now!

So I picked this book up in Canada last weekend..”True Norwegian Black Metal”. Really great book documenting Black Metal bands in Norway by Peter Beste.  When I was flying home I had this book in my carry on wheelie bag.. A TSA agent opened my bag up after the x-ray and was welcomed by this image here… Needless to say, he had a disgusted look on his face and shut my bag as quickly as possible and let me go.
